As a way of saying thank you to those of you who have been following the blog, I have decided to release the alpha version of SkyBlueCanvas v1.1. The new version has some significant improvements to the code and also includes the latest version of WYMeditor (v0.5 Alpha).

A word of caution, however – this is an alpha version and should not be used for production web sites. There are some known issues with the SBC implementation of WYMeditor v0.5 and IE 6 (selection is lost when the SkyBox overlay is activated). The software also has not been tested either so there are most likely some bugs. Additionally, there is no documentation of the new features except for the change log and that is not completely up-to-date.

All that not withstanding, if your php skills are a bit more advanced and you would like to bang on the new version, please feel free to so. I welcome any and all criticism and feedback. I would like to take SBC a step further towards maturity and your help would be a great service to me.

The login credentials for the admin control panel are demo/demo.
